Your image and video files are processed on your device. The browser-cleaning flow never uploads them.
What stays on your device?
Original media, decoded pixels, frames, thumbnails and results stay in page memory. Media is not stored in localStorage or IndexedDB. Starting another file or leaving the page discards the session. There is no account or uploaded file to delete.
What analytics are collected?
The first-party, cookieless endpoint at /api/collect receives page views, coarse tool funnel events and Web Vitals. Events may include media type, format, size bucket, duration bucket, resolution bucket, browser family and outcome class. Analytics never include file names, file hashes, media content, thumbnails, frames or a per-user file history.
How long are records kept?
Raw analytics events are retained for 90 days and then deleted. Monthly aggregate rollups, containing no per-user data, are retained for 13 months. Hosting and CDN request logs can include IP addresses, are used for operations and security only, and are retained for 30 days.
Are cookies used?
The MVP tool flow sets no cookies beyond any strictly necessary hosting behaviour. Analytics are cookieless. The application does not use advertising pixels, social trackers or third-party tag managers.
What happens to output metadata?
Cleaned files do not carry over identifying EXIF, XMP, GPS or source content-credential metadata. Embedded ICC colour data is preserved where the browser path can carry it safely. This is a re-encoding behaviour, separate from the visible-mark restoration feature.
How can I exercise my rights?
For access, deletion or other personal-data questions, contact support@aipixelclear.com. Browser cleaning creates no account or uploaded media record. Hosting logs and analytics requests can be discussed through that contact.
